Juliana Vasconcellos

Overview

About

Juliana Lima Vasconcellos, an interior designer, architect, and furniture designer with international acclaim, stands as one of the prominent figures of her generation.

For her, it’s all about a philosophy that truly resonates—blending the accessible with the extraordinary, finding beauty in everyday things, and equally celebrating the value of rare items.

A graduate in Architecture from UFMG (Belo Horizonte, Brazil), Juliana directs her studio, specialized on tailor-made interiors and collectible design. She prioritizes natural materials such as stone, wood, and metal and has a profound love for 20th-century design, especially from Brazil, France, and the Nordic regions. With a refined and uncluttered aesthetic, she emphasizes the importance of light, color palettes, and the fusion of textures. Her projects embody a blend of modern and contemporary design, distinguished by a meticulous selection of objects and art.

Juliana has been featured in leading global publications and is part of the Elle Decor USA A-List. Her portfolio also includes furniture exhibitions at The Salon NY, Milan Design Week, Nomad CIrcle, LA Design Week, Intersect Chicago, PAD London among others. Her design pieces are part of the permanent collections of museums such as the Museum of Arts and Design in New York and the Museum of Brazilian Chairs, as well as many private collections.

She is listed on the Elle Decor A-List USA for the third time as one of the 101 most important names in Architecture and Interior Design.

“Juliana Vasconcellos, one of the most important contemporary architects of the moment, who is bringing made in Brazil to the world...”
