The sofa gave rise to the famous and award-winning Mole armchair. Both designs have rounded, solid wood frames, adjustable leather support straps, and floppy, oversized luxurious leather cushions. This one is made of a stunning solid Rosewood, with new cushions in brown leather. Both Mole armchair and ottoman present original leather straps.
Although it was not well received initially, Mole would soon become an icon, perhaps the most well-known piece of Brazilian design. Its comfortable characteristics are a crucial project of national furniture design.
This piece has the Rosewood structure and leather straps in the original condition. Wood restoration by our Workshop is included as a courtesy.
