This pair of stools produced in the 1960s is composed of a solid Rosewood rectangular structure with leather seats. The pieces present a label from a small carpentry shop in Rio de Janeiro.
The simple design is punctual and translates the informality of its use: low pieces on which the user had to crouch to sit and effortlessly move it anywhere.
Among the renowned Brazilian design icons, multiple small manufacturers and artisans kept producing high-quality and well-designed furniture pieces, reinventing the typologies we already know for a long time and bringing them to new contexts.
This unrestored piece is in very good vintage condition. The wood restoration by our Workshop is included as a courtesy.
