Lucas Recchia

Overview

About

Lucas Recchia’s designs are rooted in a deep exploration of materiality and craftsmanship, merging ancestral techniques with a distinctly modern vision. His work reinterprets materials like glass, bronze, and rare Brazilian stones, bringing them into the 21st century with sculptural forms that evoke both permanence and transformation.

Guided by an ongoing dialogue with artisans and a profound curiosity for the natural processes that shape his creations, Lucas pushes the boundaries of his own understanding of design. Each piece is an investigation into how materials can hold memory, emotion, and a sense of place.

In 2025, Lucas Recchia will showcase solo exhibitions at SP-Arte in São Paulo and with Bossa in New York, alongside his participation in Milan Design Week with Rossana Orlandi. The first half of the year will also feature a major presentation with Castorina in Australia.

Recognized as the most dynamic Brazilian designer in both the national and international markets, Lucas’s work is represented in prestigious galleries and flagship stores across North and South America, Europe, the Middle East, and Asia. His collaborations with global fashion brands such as Louis Vuitton, Dior, and Off-White have solidified his place as a key figure in contemporary collectible design, with his pieces held in the private collections of discerning collectors and visionaries around the world.
