The bluish coloring is achieved through a technique using acid on the surface of the bronze, and the oxidation reaction presents this result. This ancient technique was used in outdoor statues worldwide and by the famous swiss artists Alberto and Diego Giacometti in sculptures and furniture design.
The top of this table is shaped from a melted glass top – Recchia's material of choice for most of his creations – which gave origin to a mold to make in bronze.
The side table has three legs in different shapes and finishes, resulting in many gorgeous details to pay attention to.
