This pair of stools produced in the 1960s is composed of a solid Rosewood rectangular structure with plaited cane seats. Although the authorship is still unidentified by our team, the pieces present high quality and charm with gorgeous wood tones.
The stool is one of the first forms of individual seating furniture. Without arms or backs, this typology originated many other possibilities through time, being very present in Brazilian homes until today.
The simple design is punctual and translates the informality of its use: low pieces on which the user had to crouch to sit and effortlessly move anywhere. Perfect for adding informal seating to any room!
Among the renowned Brazilian design icons, multiple small manufacturers and artisans kept producing high-quality and well-designed furniture pieces, reinventing the typologies we already know for a long time and bringing them to new contexts.
The stools are in very good vintage condition. Restoration by our Workshop is included as a courtesy.
