Designed in 1955 by Carlo Hauner (1927-1997) for Forma S.A. Móveis e Objetos de Arte, this set of six dining chairs is made of solid Rosewood structure, green leather seats, and cane backrests.
Unlike the cane tradition in Brazilian furniture, with octagon or round designs, the cane weaving in this dining chair presents rectangular forms, which results in a particular aesthetic. This piece also stands out in the details, as the back feet are tilted back at an open angle and the slight curves in the fittings.
