The Low Armchair was designed by Carlo Hauner and Martin Eisler and manufactured by Forma S.A Móveis e Objetos de Arte around 1955.
A modern Brazilian armchair made in the curved iron structure and recently upholstery in green velvet. The armchair feature a single volume of seat and backs. The upholstery is supported by an iron frame structure that combines visual lightness and stability, evidenced by little feet, touching the ground at minimal. The piece's very comfortable and elegant.
For this piece, the original state of the iron frame has been kept original, and the upholstery was chosen considering the contemporary proposal of the piece.
The piece was first presented in the exhibition "Carlo Hauner, Martin Eisler and the modernization of furniture in Brazil" at the Museum of Fine Arts of São Paulo (MuBa). São Paulo, Brazil.
