The yarns used in Bossa Fabrics gain colors from natural dyes extracted from plants in an alchemical process that uses water, heat, salt, and vinegar (acetic acid). The technique consists of boiling the vegetable product, removing the liquid in the form of syrup, diluting it in water, emerging the fibers, and applying salt and vinegar as a fixative. The entire dyeing process is executed by hand. It can present variations of up to 15% in coloring due to differences in raw materials.
