Utilitarian or just decorative, the vase is made of Murano Glass – a unique handmade artistic doing executed by highly skilled master artisans, originated on Murano island in Venice, Italy, for over a thousand years. The Venetian glassmakers of Murano are known for many innovations and refinements to glassmaking.
This piece is opaque thanks to the etched glass and presents a white-colored glass in the interior that looks like porcelain, a technique called "lattimo ." There is an author's signature located at the bottom.
