Created by the Italian Carlo Montalto in the 1930s, Carlo Montalto pioneered lighting in Brazil. After a few years of operation, the company changed its name to Carlo Montalto & Filhos.
This design has an adjustable dome that opens and closes, offering more or less light. Carlo Montalto designed the piece to use in children's bedrooms. That way, a child who did not want to sleep in a completely dark environment could count on a focused light for bed reading and a soft one during sleep.
This item has the manufacturer's stamp.
The table lamp received an electrical overhaul and is in complete working order, using 127V as standard. It can be adjusted to meet different countries' lighting standards (on request). Consult our team to know more.
