This series combines replicable elements made of cast bronze and fused glass, exploring the dynamic interplay between light and material. The symbiotic relationship between glass and light enhances the perception of reality, projecting colored shadows and transforming the solidity of bronze and aluminum into ethereal forms.
Recchia uses four distinct ring shapes—two rounded and two rectangular—in bronze or aluminum, assembling them in various configurations to create side tables, coffee tables, vases, chandeliers, trays, mirrors, and consoles. These versatile arrangements allow the pieces to potentially metamorphose into other typologies. Each work in the collection is unique and made to order, offering endless possibilities for reinterpretation and transformation.
